Meet Toby, the founder and driving force behind Rightbuild Ltd — a hands-on leader who built the company from the ground up through hard work, determination, and a passion for quality craftsmanship. From humble beginnings to running a thriving local business, Toby leads with experience, integrity, and an unshakable commitment to his team and community.
I left school at 15 with no qualifications – proof that your mindset is everything. If you’re determined, stay consistent, and put in the work, you can achieve anything you set your heart on.
I needed a trade, so decided to study Plumbing at college, I spent several years working across Crawley for various building firms as a bricklayer, general labourer, and builder, gaining a wealth of hands-on experience across all aspects of construction. Armed with those skills and a drive to create something of my own, I founded Rightbuild Ltd in 2014.
Everything I’ve learned, I’ve learned on the ground. My philosophy has always been simple – never give up, stay consistent, and keep moving forward. Rightbuild has grown steadily since day one, and I’m incredibly proud to now provide jobs and opportunities within the local community. I’m grateful for the talented team around me and excited about what’s still to come.
Most days start early – and usually with two or three coffees! My mornings are all about reviewing teamwork sheets, responding to the mountain of emails, and catching up with staff to discuss both our private and commercial projects.
A big part of my role is decision-making — giving the team what they need to deliver quality results while staying one step ahead of any challenges.
No two days are the same, but that’s exactly how I like it. My focus is always on team morale, quality workmanship, and keeping Rightbuild moving forward.
Everything I do, I do for my family, they’re my greatest motivation. We love travelling, exploring new places, and enjoying good food together. I’m also a lifelong Crystal Palace supporter and a proud season ticket holder who rarely misses a game.
I’m passionate about fitness and running — it’s the best way to clear my head and keep focused. You’ll often find me at the gym for a 5am session before the day begins.
See, Believe, Receive – I believe your brain is the most valuable tool on this earth.
Definitely the ability to blink and have all my emails answered, that would be a game-changer!
Meet Lee, our experienced and dependable Operations Manager, who ensures every project at Rightbuild runs smoothly from start to finish. With years of hands-on construction experience and a sharp eye for detail, Lee combines strong leadership with practical know-how to keep teams organised, projects on schedule, and clients happy, all while bringing a sense of calm (and a touch of humour) to even the busiest days.
Before joining Rightbuild, I worked as a Site Supervisor at a local building firm, gaining valuable hands-on experience in project management, logistics, and team leadership. When I joined Rightbuild four years ago, I jumped straight into the role of Operations Manager and haven’t looked back since.
Over the years, I’ve become something of a walking construction encyclopedia (with better jokes), handling everything from scheduling and compliance to team coordination and problem-solving. My approach is simple: plan-ahead, stay calm under pressure, and keep the team motivated no matter how busy things get.
No two days are ever quite the same, but most involve coordinating teams, planning upcoming projects, and troubleshooting issues before anyone else even spots them. I spend a lot of time making sure operations run smoothly and drinking coffee like it’s part of my job description.
It’s a role that requires juggling a hundred moving parts at once, but that’s exactly what makes it so rewarding.
I live with my wife and daughter, while my two older children have officially moved out… though they tend to reappear whenever there’s food involved!
Outside of work, I enjoy catching up with friends and unwinding with a good Netflix series — preferably something gripping enough to stop me checking my emails.
I’m passionate about helping charities and love getting involved whenever I can. Over the years, I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge — some useful, some questionable — but all entertaining!
I would have to be supplicating myself – so I can be in multiple places at once. Perfect for managing operations, and even better for avoiding those meetings I don’t remember agreeing to!
Introducing Adam, a skilled and adaptable manager whose 20+ years of experience, resilience, and people-first approach make him an integral part of Rightbuild’s success.
I bring over 20 years of management experience, supported by a degree in Management and Marketing from Loughborough University. My career began in the entertainment industry, where I worked my way up from late-night event management to overseeing multiple venues and businesses. That fast-paced world taught me the value of leadership, operational precision, and staying calm under pressure.
As my family grew, I wanted a better work-life balance, so I retrained as a plumber and made the move into the construction industry. It wasn’t long before I found myself back in management, leading teams across three construction companies in diverse roles. This experience broadened my technical understanding, strengthened my adaptability, and deepened my respect for the people who make great projects happen.
In 2022, I overcame a major health challenge that reminded me how important it is to take care of myself and those around me. Rebuilding my fitness and resilience gave me a renewed sense of purpose and perspective.
Now, as part of Rightbuild, I’m proud to work alongside a team that truly cares about quality, professionalism, and people. I’m passionate about creating an environment where everyone can do their best work — and feel valued while doing it.
No two days are ever quite the same, which is one of the things I enjoy most about working in construction. My days often involve coordinating teams, overseeing projects and maintenance schedules, and ensuring that both clients and staff have everything they need for smooth, efficient progress.
I spend a lot of time problem-solving, planning, and supporting others — whether that’s making sure materials are where they need to be, checking on site progress, or resolving any issues before they become bigger challenges. Every day brings something new, and I thrive on finding solutions that keep things moving forward.
Family is everything to me. I’m lucky to have a close-knit household and two amazing daughters who keep life fun, busy, and full of purpose. They’re my biggest motivation in everything I do.
When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors and keeping active. Fitness became a big part of my life after recovering from my health challenge — it’s something that keeps me grounded and focused.
I also enjoy getting hands-on with DIY projects and home improvements (occupational hazard, I suppose). Whether it’s fixing, building, or improving something, I find real satisfaction in seeing a project through from start to finish — both at work and at home.
Despite a busy career and family life, I’ve managed to complete a few endurance fitness challenges — something I never thought I’d do a few years ago!
It would be the ability to see into the future — predicting problems before they happen and keeping every project one step ahead. It would make scheduling a lot easier… and the job sites a lot quieter!
Meet Katie, our brilliant Finance and HR Manager. , who truly keeps Rightbuild running like a well-oiled machine. From managing finances and payroll to overseeing HR, compliance, and office operations, Katie is the organisational heartbeat of the business. She balances numbers, people, and projects effortlessly — often spinning more plates than most of us could count — all while keeping everything (and everyone) on track.
I started my career working part-time at McDonald’s while studying Travel and Tourism at college. When I turned 18, I stepped into a full-time role and quickly progressed through the ranks — becoming one of the youngest-ever Business Managers by the age of 20.
I spent 13 years with the company, developing strong leadership, operational, and customer service skills while managing busy teams and fast-paced environments. During that time, I also welcomed my three beautiful children and began studying accounting, setting my sights on a new career path.
In 2014, I joined Pearl Hotels as an Accounts Payable Supervisor and, through hard work and a genuine passion for finance, worked my way up to Finance Manager. That role gave me valuable experience in financial operations, budgeting, and business management — all skills I bring to my position here at Rightbuild today.
Manic! No two days are ever the same, and my to-do list always seems to grow faster than I can tick things off. I oversee all aspects of HR, payroll, operative compliance, and finance; while also supporting our contract managers and office team to make sure performance targets are met and payment applications are completed on time.
I work closely with Adam and Toby on private projects, manage cashflow forecasting, and produce monthly reports to keep everything on track. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role that keeps me constantly switching between people, projects, and numbers — and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I have three boys — two grown up now and one teenager. People say it gets easier, but they still need lifts everywhere and seem to have bottomless appetites!
I love keeping active and play netball in a local league twice a week, plus a weekly bootcamp session to stay fit. Weekends are all about watching my boys play football and catching up with friends — usually with plenty of laughs (coffee and maybe the odd Prosecco).
The fact that, I can’t think of any interesting fact!
To be able to click my fingers and there create more hours in the day — and maybe a few extra days in the week too!
Meet Bhav, our Reactive and Planned Contracts Manager. With his upbeat vibe and cheeky sense of humour, Bhav brings years of design experience and sharp project coordination skills to deliver exceptional results on every job.
I have 18 years of experience as an interior designer, developing a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of both design and the wider industry. After leaving school, I continued to expand my knowledge and refine my skills, staying up to date with the latest trends and innovations. Today, I bring that experience into my role as a Reactive and Planned Contracts Manager, where I focus on delivering efficient, high-quality results across a wide range of projects.
A typical day involves coordinating projects, managing timelines, and ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard. I work closely with clients, suppliers, and contractors to keep everything running smoothly, solve challenges quickly, and maintain clear communication from concept through to completion.
Family plays a central role in my life. I enjoy organising get-togethers, spending quality time with loved ones.
I’m a big sports enthusiast, with football, cricket, and boxing among my main interests. As a lifelong Arsenal supporter, I enjoy both watching and playing football and cricket. I’ve also explored martial arts and like spending time researching topics such as politics and religion.
During my travels, I’ve had some incredible experience, one of the most memorable has to be walking with lions in the African bush and holding onto their tails. I’ve also had the opportunity to meet cricket legends Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar.
If I could have one superpower, it would be to teleporting, so I could stay ahead of the game!
Introducing Aiden, a skilled Reactive Maintenance Surveyor with a hands-on background in construction and a talent for tackling challenges head-on.
I started my career at 17 as a landscape gardener, spending over five years getting hands-on experience in outdoor construction, groundwork, and site preparation.
In 2014, I joined Rightbuild during its early growth phase, where I gained valuable experience across a wide range of general building works. A few years later, I moved into the TV and satellite engineering sector, which really helped me develop my technical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and problem-solving abilities.
I came back to the building industry in 2023 and have been part of the Rightbuild team ever since. In my current role as a Reactive Maintenance Surveyor, I bring over 2.5 years of dedicated experience and a real passion for getting things done right the first time.
No two days are ever the same in my role as a Reactive Maintenance Surveyor, and that’s exactly what I enjoy about it. I’m constantly out on different sites, assessing a wide range of property issues, from minor repairs to more complex building problems.
A big part of my job is thinking on my feet. Every property is different, and every situation brings its own challenges. I need to diagnose issues quickly, decide the best course of action, and make sure the right trades and resources are in place to get the job done safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
I’m also responsible for surveying and coding works, managing void properties, and ensuring compliance and quality control across all maintenance projects. It’s a fast-paced role that keeps me problem-solving daily — and I take pride in finding solutions that keep tenants and clients happy while maintaining Rightbuild’s reputation for reliability and professionalism.
I live with my partner Kristina and our two children, Alfie and Lilly. We also have a French Bulldog named Max, who keeps us all entertained!
I’m a huge football fan — you’ll usually find me glued to the TV watching Arsenal or cheering (and occasionally shouting) for England. I’m just as happy being on the pitch as I am watching from the sofa, and I try to get out and play whenever I can. It’s a great way to switch off, stay active, and get a bit of friendly competition in.
When I’m not talking about football, I’m usually in the garage tinkering with 2-stroke engines. I’ve always had a thing for figuring out how things work — whether it’s fixing up a bike, an engine, or anything with moving parts. It’s my way of unwinding and keeping my hands busy.
I like to call myself the “Santi Cazorla of grassroots football” — small but skilful!
It would definitely be the ability to solve any problem with a click of my fingers — that would make reactive maintenance a whole lot easier!
Meet Maisy, our Office Administrator who keeps the Rightbuild team organised, projects on schedule, and the office running like clockwork.
Before joining Rightbuild, I worked part-time at Boots from June 2023 to July 2025 as a Customer Advisor. That experience helped me develop strong people skills, learn how to understand customers’ needs, and handle all sorts of situations with patience and professionalism. It also taught me the importance of good communication — something that’s definitely come in handy in my current role!
No two days are ever quite the same, but my mornings usually start with uploading invoices and making sure everything is up to date and running smoothly behind the scenes. I spend a lot of my time managing schedules, coordinating with teams, and ordering materials to make sure upcoming projects have everything they need to stay on track.
The afternoon tends to be a mix of client calls, updating project plans, and helping to solve any little issues that pop up throughout the day — because in construction, there’s always something that needs sorting! My role is all about keeping the admin side organised, making sure the team has what they need, and ensuring projects run efficiently from start to finish.
Unfortunately… I work alongside my dad here (just kidding — he’s great, I promise!). I’m very family-oriented and close with my mum, dad, brother, sister, and my lovely niece who keeps us all on our toes.
Outside of work, I love a good mix of beauty and creativity. I enjoy doing lashes, cooking, and going to the gym (when I can be bothered!). I’m also a big fan of getting my hair and nails done — it’s my way of switching off and having a bit of “me time.”
I have a soft spot for interior design too. I recently put my creative side to good use by redesigning and improving the office space at Rightbuild, which was a fun project to take on and made the workplace feel much more welcoming and modern.
After a few drinks, I apparently know how to play the harmonica — not very well, but apparently it’s very entertaining!
It would be the ability to duplicate myself — so I could do two things at once, especially when projects get busy!
Meet Mandy one of our friendly faces, who helps keep things running smoothly at head office. Get to know more about Mandy’s role, and how she is an integral part of our team.
With over 18 years of experience in the maintenance and construction industry, I’ve built a strong foundation in project coordination, team communication, and operational support. My background has given me a deep understanding of how to keep projects running smoothly — from managing schedules and documentation to ensuring teams stay on track and work safely. This experience has shaped my strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
My day usually starts with checking emails and prioritising tasks to make sure everything is running smoothly from the start. A big part of my role involves coordinating with site teams and engineers, raising new jobs, and keeping on top of the daily workflow to make sure projects stay on schedule.
I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes organisation — from logging maintenance requests and updating job sheets, to communicating with clients and suppliers to ensure everyone has the right information at the right time. Attention to detail is key, especially when it comes to scheduling works, managing paperwork, and updating our internal systems for accurate tracking and cost control.
Throughout the day, I stay in close contact with our trades and surveyors to make sure materials, access, and safety requirements are all in place. I also prepare and update reports and progress summaries, helping the team monitor timelines and performance.
I like to finish each day by reviewing what’s been completed, planning ahead for tomorrow’s tasks, and making sure the Rightbuild team has everything they need to deliver high-quality work efficiently. It’s a busy, varied role that keeps me on my toes — and that’s exactly what I enjoy about it.
I’m a proud aunt to a lively niece and nephew who keep me active and entertained! Never a dull moment with them around.
When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me catching up with friends, enjoying a bit of social time, or doing what I do best — shopping! I have an incredible talent for finding something I “definitely need” every time I step into a shop. Let’s just say my bank account doesn’t always share my enthusiasm!
I can’t think of one right now… but I’m sure my colleagues could come up with a few for you!
The Power to See into the Future/Perfect foresight — having the ability to see into the future to spot potential issues before they happen and prevent any delays in our projects would be very helpful.
